Trolleybuses out of service with car no. 24
The trolleybus no. 24I of the Czech type ŠKODA 9 Tr15 was in service from
April 1970 to October 26th, 1987 in Eberswalde. The trolleybus was released in 1987 as
storeroom to the Soviet Army.
The photo show the trolleybus no. 24I of the Czech type ŠKODA 9 Tr15 on the
Wilhelm-Pieck-Straße (today: Eisenbahnstraße) at the former bus stop Ludwig-
Sandberg-Straße in direction to Karl-Marx-Platz.
The photo show the articulated trolleybus no. 024 of the Hungarian type Ikarus 280.93 with
original colour on the line S 1 at the crossing Eberswalder
Straße/Spechthausener Straße in direction to Max Reimann-Viertel (today Brandenburgisches Viertel).
The articulated trolleybuses no. 021 to 025, which were delivered in the year 1990, received a painting in the firm colors of the Barnimer Busgesellschaft mbH in the period November 1994 until March 1995.
The photo show the articulated trolleybus no. 024 of the Hungarian type Ikarus 280.93 with the firm colors of the Barnimer Busgesellschaft mbH on the line 862 at the final stop Ostend.
The articulated trolleybus no. 024 of the Hungarian type Ikarus 280.93 was taken out of
service on 31 January 1998 and sold by ferry via Rostock-Kaliningrad/RU to Chelyabinsk/Russia on 06 February 1998.
The next photo show the former Eberswalde articulated trolleybus no. 024 of the Hungarian
type Ikarus 280.93 on the line in Chelyabinsk/Russia on 30 May 2001. The vehicle had there the car no. 3864.
The former Eberswalde articulated trolleybus no. 024 of the Hungarian type Ikarus 280.93 with the Chelyabinsk car no. 3864 was decommissioned and scrapped in Chelyabinsk/RU in March 2009.
